Longcase Clocks
Charles Cabrier of London

Circa 1693

An early antique silver pair cased verge fusee pocket watch with champleve dial made by Charles Cabrier of London.

The fine eighteenth century pocket watch is signed and numbered to the deep full plate gilded verge fusee movement.  There is a finely pierced and engraved balance cock, foot & surround to the silver disc regulator, and worm & wheel barrel set-up between the plates.

The time is displayed via the blued steel hands to the silver champleve dial which is signed on a cartouche "Cabrier - London".

The silver pair cases are as close to mint condition as is possible to get with original pendant and bow, and carry English hallmarks for 1693 and the casemaker's mark - GB.
